Start with the deadline that applies to you

Public entities with a total population of 50,000 or more have an ADA Title II compliance date of April 26, 2027. Smaller public entities and special district governments have until April 26, 2028. DOJ extended both dates by one year in April 2026. Section 508 applies to federal agencies and flows into federal contracts.
